The short version

  • This website does not use cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking.
  • Detailed, cookieless visitor statistics run only if you accept on our banner. Decline and nothing is loaded.
  • Your browser keeps a note of your choice, so we don't ask on every page. You can change it any time with Privacy choices at the bottom of every page.
  • Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some situations, to tell people from bots, and the support form uses a strictly necessary spam check.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, also store or read information on your device. The law requires your consent before a website uses them, unless they are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, such as delivering the page securely. This is set out in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), implemented in Romania by Article 4 of Law no. 506/2004.

2. What this website uses

Our own code sets no cookies. It stores one item in your browser's local storage, only after you answer the banner:

NameTypePurposeDuration
tebatech-consentLocal storage (first party)Remembers whether you accepted or declined visitor statistics, and when, so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. It never leaves your device.About 6 months, then we ask again

Remembering your choice is strictly necessary to respect it, so it doesn't require consent. The light or dark appearance simply follows your device settings and is not saved.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and automated abuse. In some situations, for example when traffic looks automated or you're asked to complete a security check, Cloudflare may set one of these strictly necessary cookies:

NameProviderPurposeDuration
__cf_bmCloudflareDistinguishes people from bots to protect the website. Contains no information that identifies you.30 minutes
cf_clearanceCloudflareRemembers that you passed a security check, so you aren't asked again on every page.Usually 30 minutes

Because these cookies are strictly necessary for delivering the website securely, they don't require consent. They are not used for statistics or advertising.

The support form on our support page is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads from challenges.cloudflare.com on that page only. To tell people from automated programs, it reads technical information from your browser and may store a short-lived item on your device for this check. This is strictly necessary to provide the form you chose to use, so it doesn't require consent, and it is not used for statistics, advertising or tracking.

3. Visitor statistics

If you accept on the banner, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies and without storing anything on your device: a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com sends information about the page view (the page, referring page, browser and device type, and loading times) to Cloudflare. It doesn't identify you, build a profile or follow you to other websites, and we only see aggregated totals.

Because the script reads information from your browser, we only load it with your consent. If you decline, or don't answer, it is never loaded and the website works exactly the same.

Separately, our hosting provider Cloudflare gives us aggregated traffic totals (such as requests, visitors and countries) counted on its own servers from the requests your browser sends to load the pages. Nothing runs in your browser and nothing is stored on or read from your device for this, so it involves no cookies or similar technologies. More details are in our privacy policy.

4. Third-party content

We don't embed third-party content such as videos, maps, social media buttons or advertising, and our fonts are served from our own domain. Apart from Cloudflare (for the security check and spam protection described above, and statistics only with your consent), no third party can set cookies or similar technologies through our pages.

When you follow a link to another website, such as the App Store or Google Play, that website's own cookie policy applies.

5. Our games

This policy covers the website only. Our mobile games don't use browser cookies, but some may use similar technologies on your device, such as advertising identifiers. Each game explains these in its own privacy policy and asks for your choices inside the game where the law requires it.

6. Managing cookies

To change your answer about visitor statistics, use the Privacy choices button at the bottom of any page. A new choice applies from the next page you open.

You can also view and delete cookies and site data, including the note of your choice, in your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari on Mac and Safari on iPhone
  • Microsoft Edge

If you block Cloudflare's security cookies, the website still works, but you may be asked to complete security checks more often.

7. Changes and contact

If we ever add other cookies or similar technologies that need your consent, we'll ask for it first and update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision.
